The use of mobile phones has become almost inseparable from our day to day lives. The phone industry in UK in particular has increased manifold in recent years. A number of phone manufacturers and network service providers are now in fray competing against each other. This is followed by choosing a handset that is supported by the provider and inserting a SIM card in the gadget. The credit or minutes are then purchased in advance in form of a card whose number needs to be activated. A user is then able to talk as long as balance is available, because of which such deals are also known as ‘on the go phones’. Once the balance runs out, a user again has to purchase the minutes for further use. Such an arrangement becomes especially suitable for those with habits of overspending with their mobiles. Such users find it easier to cut down on their long bills by shifting to payg. Secondly, one also get rid of long formalities like contract signing, monthly cycle billings etc. No Credit Cards are required to avail the service and no bond are implied either. If a user finds the service unsatisfactory, he is at liberty to move to another network provider without prior intimation.
These days, a number of exciting payg offers are made available from various companies. Sony Ericsson has unveiled its W995 with various networks including Orange, T mobile and O2. Other handsets available from the company includes Sony Ercissson T303, W580i, T303i and C905. Nokia, the other popular phone manufacturer is providing the Nokia N97, its latest smart phone with several reputed networks.
