Nokia 5230 XpressMusic Review
The Nokia 5230 XpressMusic phone from Nokia is another that has a focus on the music. It measures 107.95mm x 45.974 mm x 14.986 mm and weighs just over 100 grams 9AT 104). The LCD display is 2 inches, which is only slightly smaller than the average of the modern phones, with 2.4 inches. Below the screen is a square navigation pad them with a request buttons on both sides. Below that is a modern-looking keyboard with low-profile keys. On the sides of the phoneYou can find a pair of musical keys. The Nokia 5230 is available in a variety of colors.
The music player is one of the highlights of the phone being an XpressMusic phone. The most popular music formats are supported, and there is an FM radio. The sound quality is excellent and Nokia have some advanced features, including music not only with but also to individually play the sound. Internal memory can of course be enhanced with a microSD card.
The cameraon the Nokia 5230 is equipped with 2 megapixels and a built-in flash. The picture quality is quite good, and there are a couple of camera features such as a dedicated camera button on the side of the phone. The camera can also be used as a video camera.
A few special features on the Nokia 5230 XpressMusic are connected GPS navigation, Google Maps, a hands-free speaker, and Instant Messenger.
Internet connection is fast with 3G, EDGE and GPRS. The only thing missing is Wi-Fiwifi. There is of course Bluetooth.
In summary, the Nokia 5230 one look great, music is dedicated to mobile phones. The camera is ok, but Nokia would have been better with a 3-megapixel camera and the Internet would have improved with wifi.

| Review by Soner Bicici (USA) 2010-06-16 I purchased this phone and I must say that I am extremely happy with it. I used to own a Nokia 5310 and I can tell you that this phone is SO much better than 5310. (And I'm not talking about the smartphone features.) First of all call quality is excellent. Very clear. I am very very impressed. I can't even compare it to 5310. I used to... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Stan (Boise ID) 2009-12-07 I actually like this phone. While it is true that the volume adjustment does need to be turned up all the way, I've never had a problem with hearing. All the buttons seem to work fine. The screen does appear to be a little dark or hard to see in the direct sunlight, but setting the adjustments for that seems to have solved the problem. Overall, I t... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Frank C (Chicago, USA) 2010-01-19 I bought Nokia 2720 phone yesterday, did not try to use it until I got home. (1) The volume of the phone was so low that I could hardly hear the conversation even it is set at the highest volume. (2) The menu key includes a big square area above number panel. A very slim rim around the center square is where we push up, down, left and right for get... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by J. Scarborough (St. Petersburg, FL USA) 2009-11-14 I had my Nokia 2720 about 2 weeks before returning it and have little good to say about it other than it seemed well made, had a solid feel and a reasonable battery life. For three reasons I decided to return it. 1. The phone was black and shiny, sleek and attractive as long as no one had touched it since it was cleaned. P... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Lizwel (Baton Rouge, LA) 2009-08-05 When I found out that Net 10 had started carrying a blue tooth enabled phone I was very happy. So I purchased the LG 600G (from Net 10 though, because Amazon didn't have them at the time). Here is my opinion of the phone. Pros: 1.The phone was easy to activate. 2.Small enough to fit anywhere. 3.Text-messaging is easy.... Read more reviews | ||
